Another Camping Weekend...
This time we were at Salamonie State Park in Indiana with the Bushfield side of the family. 30-ish campers and 6 campsites, so it was quite the gathering! It was blazing hot, so we were thankful to have A/C in the campers as a retreat (and a sleeping place for Claire, while we slept hard-core in our tent w/ a blow-up mattress that went flat at 4am the first night--rough life). We swam in the lake, played some games, the kids got their faces painted by Cousin Melissa, and we all enjoyed the camaraderie around the campfire. Here are a few photos from the weekend:

Mollie, Kelsey, Claire, Allie, Nathan
Drew, Emma, Alex, Michael, Jake
(missing Katie:-()
Melissa also made these shirts for the girls. In the past few months, Allie has had a tendency to use her teeth as a fighting mechanism, and Claire unfortunately has taken the brunt of it a few times. If you can't make them out, Allie's shirt says "I bite." Claire's says "I don't bite." I don't think Sheri found these shirts quite as humorous as the rest of us!!
Claire enjoying her 3rd partial icecream cone of the day.
Spoiled would you think??
