January Stuff

We've been staying in a lot lately. Probably because it has been sooooo blasted cold! But also because Greg has had a few weeks off (starts his new job next week), and we've enjoyed being home together, and have also had a lot of "house stuff" to work on...the house went on the market right after the first of the year. Hopefully it won't take too long...

With all the time at home, we've had some interesting kinds of fun...or "instresting" as Claire would say.

Here's Claire & me w/ our matching "Valley Girl Hair" eating clementines. For some reason, I started this whole in the thumb "cool dude" thing...and it has stuck.
If Liam even sees a clementine or orange ("oh-sha"), he calls out, "COOL DUDE!" Mind you, he won't even take a bite...but he sure insists on putting one on his thumb (or finger...he's not picky).
Claire got a haircut this week. Now she looks just like Kit (minus the freckles) .... pretty cute!

We did make it to the Children's Museum in Indy last week, and it was great! I forgot our camera, which was a bummer, but also kind-of a blessing. Sometimes it's just fun to really watch the delight in the kids and not stay so busy behind a camera. Of course there was a train section, so Liam squealed "CHOO CHOO!" a million times, and Claire loved the Mr. Rodgers Neighborhood planetarium show the best. All in all, a fun day!
We also spent a day househunting in Springfield. Too bad we have to sell this house before we can get too excited about buying! But we are excited about the prospects...
