Claire had her 1st Day of preschool today (she loved it of course). She decided she wanted her daddy to pick her up after her first day and take her out on a date. They went for a pizza "parfait" (buffet) and she talked his ear off.
I can finally say that I'm a "soccer mom!" Claire had her 1st soccer game this week. She made contact a few times and even got to play goalie.
At one point, when Greg asked her why she wasn't sitting with her teammates, she said she didn't want to "get her shorts dirty." Such a girl.
Liam got some soccer practice in too. He would have been out on the field with the "big kids" if we'd let him.
We also went to a local farmer's market...can't go wrong w/ local produce (and kettle corn of course!). We found out it is best to go towards the end of the evening and to bring young children. Farmers gave them free apples & a really yummy melon!
We had a free Saturday, so why not take a jaunt down to the St Louis Zoo?
