Snow!

We FINALLY woke up to snow! It's about time.......we were wondering if Claire would ever get to experience playing in it (or wearing the snow boots she's been wearing around the house for the past 2 months!). Needless to say, she had a blast. Although she wouldn't let Greg pile the snowballs on top of each other to form a snowman...so they are still sitting as individual balls in the front yard. Who's in charge here?

We took her to a concert this afternoon....the Champaign-Urbana Symphony Orchestra. They had an "around the world" family concert, so the songs were short and sweet, and quite entertaining, as far as orchestral music goes. Claire did pretty well...sat fairly still...loved pointing out specific instruments....and looked at me during a festive song about a bullfight in Spain and said, "Mommy, this one is my faaaaavorite!"
