A SANTA-FILLED FUN WEEKEND!

Our weekend began with a Christmas parade right by the old state capitol. It was cold, but a little bundling, candy, and Santa as the grand marshall took care of that!

Then we paid a visit to the old man himself. Claire hopped right up there and told him a few things on her list (easy bake oven and matching clothes for her Kit doll and herself). Liam asked to leave ("Door, Daddy!"), but Greg held him and he managed to hold Santa's hand for a second while Claire told Santa that he wished for cars this year.

Then, we were off to "Lunch on the Train with Santa" in Monticello! What a fun experience!

We took a 30 minute ride and had a sack lunch, while Santa paid all the passengers a visit.

I never thought Claire would be so comfortable with Santa, but she sure is. Liam, who is usually our outgoing one, was still hesitant.
Sissy took care of that.

Just a few sweet moments from the weekend...

And here's a look at what these two like to do together.
Lately, they have beeen changing costumes and "ice skating" on the hardwood floors! I really never know what to expect when they come down the stairs....
